About festival

The International Folk Festival - Montana is organized by the Municipality of Montana - Bulgaria. It is dedicated to the celebration of the Day of Montana -  Holy Spirit, which is always on the Monday after Pentecost, i.e. 51 days after Orthodox Easter. In 2023, it is on June 5, and the sixteenth edition of the festival will be from June 4 to 8.
